How do I upgrade my subscription to a faster account?

You can always upgrade to a faster account. Go to your account page and press "Upgrade" under the blue Extend button.

How the conversion works:

From a 'Slow' to a 'Basic' subscription; current term times 0.6 plus the new term.
From a 'Slow' to a 'Fast' subscription; the current term times 0.5 plus the new term.
From a 'Basic' to a 'Fast' subscription; the current term times 0.8 plus the new term.

Conversion example:

If you currently have 25 days remaining for your 'Slow’ subscription term, but you'd like to convert to a 30 day 'Basic' subscription. The conversion will work as follows: The remaining 25 days of your 'Small' subscription times 0.6 comes to 15 days. Now add those 15 days to your 30 days 'Basic' subscription and you'll get 45 days of 'Basic' subscription.

Is it possible to run Spotnet and SnelNL software?

Yes, you are free to choose which software to use with SnelNL. However, there are some differences when using the software:

- SnelNL offers a much better completion rate than Spotnet.
- SnelNL is also available to macOS users!

You can download our software for free here!

Retrieving spots is taking too long

If you’re having issues retrieving spots, we recommend switching to SnelNL’s exclusive Usenet downloading software which is much faster and has a much better completion rate.

If you prefer using Spotnet, we suggest deleting the existing software from your device and installing the special Spotnet version, which sets up all the settings properly and automatically. To log in, use the same username and password you use with SnelNL and choose the account type you are subscribed to.

I can't find or play my previous downloads

You can find old downloads on your hard drive. Try looking in your 'Downloads' folder or 'SnelNL' folder in 'Documents'.

My download keeps pausing / is stuck at 0%

Be sure to check the following:

- Are you using the correct username and password?

- Do you share your account? (this is allowed, but all of your available connections may be taken).

I do not get the full download speed

There’s a lot of confusion about MB/s (MiB/s), and Mbps (Mbit/s).

The download software shows the download speed in MB/s (MiB/s). To convert MB/s to Mbps you need to multiply the number by eight, for example:

1MB/s = 8Mbps or 5MB/s = 40Mbps.

Possible reasons for slower downloads:

- WiFi is limited and often doesn't provide full and stable download speeds.
- Your HDD is slow and can’t write or/and extract faster than the download.
- Your internet connection might be limited by your internet provider.
- You may be limited by the number of connections your plan provides (Slow = 3 connections / Basic = 8 connections / Fast = 12 connections)

If this doesn't help you, please contact us.

What video player do I need?

SnelNL comes with its own free Usenet streaming software that is compatible with virtually any format and lets you start streaming as soon as the download starts.

What is the difference between 3/8/12 connections?

This setting will depend on your subscription type and the software you are using.

Use the following settings with the SnelNL software:

- Slow Account = 3 Threads/Connections
- Basic Account = 8 Threads/Connections
- Fast Account = 20 Threads / Connections

Use the following settings with the Spotnet software:

- Slow Account = 5 Threads/Connections
- Basic Account = 10 Threads/Connections
- Fast Account = 20 Threads/Connections

I cannot open the SnelNL software

If you are unable to open the SnelNL application try doing the following:

Open Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL)

- Look under Processes and check whether SnelNL is running.

- Select the SnelNL process and stop it by clicking 'End Process'.

- Try and launch SnelNL again.

If you keep having this problem, try reinstalling the latest SnelNL software.

I got the error message “System.OutOfMemoryException”

When you get this message you should try and install Spotnet again. To do this:

1. Remove your current version of Spotnet.
2. Download this special Spotnet version, which properly sets up most of the data automatically.
3. Login during the setup process using your SnelNL Usenet and password and choose the account type you are subscribed to.

I got an 502 error message, what should i do?

Es gibt zwei Arten von 502-Fehlern.

Typ 1: 502 Authentifizierungsfehler

Typ 2: 502 Zu viele Verbindungen or 502 Zugriff verweigert (Verbindungslimit erreicht)

Diese Fehler bedeuten, dass Sie zu viele Verbindungen verwenden. Um das Problem zu beheben, öffnen Sie die Einstellungen der SneINL-App und geben Sie die richtige Verbindungsanzahl ein:

Langsames Konto: max. 4 Verbindungen.
Basic-Kontot: max. 8 Verbindungen.
Schnelles Konto: max. 12 Verbindungen.
